Wednesday, October 22, 2008, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm 108 million people in the U.S. drank coffee yesterday. Americans pay an average of $4-$11 for a pound of coffee while the growers receive around $.80 per pound. Learn how fair trade can address this issue at the 2nd annual Fair Trade Expo. Local agencies and organizations specializing in fair trade will be on hand to talk about how they support fair trade and will also have products available for purchase.
