This Thursday, January 28th, from 4 to 9 pm, you can head into the Noodles and Company in Okemos (on the corner of Grand River and Marsh Rds) and give them this flier, and along with the delicious meal you will also be receiving the satisfaction of donating 25% of the cost to MSU Students for Fair Trade so that we can keep promoting Fair Trade on behalf of farmers and artisans around the world who need to get their goods to your market ethically, safely, and at a good price. That was a long sentence. So I'll remind you in list form why you should give some money to promote Fair Trade.

Fair Trade is an economic partnership based on dialogue, transparency, and respect. This system of exchange seeks to create greater equity and partnership in the international trading system by:
• Creating opportunities for economically and socially marginalized producers
• Developing transparent and accountable relationships
• Building capacity
• Paying promptly and fairly
• Supporting safe and empowering working conditions
• Ensuring the rights of children
• Cultivating environmental stewardship
• Respecting cultural identity
